About

Veronica (b. 1997) is a digital artist based in the United States, with a passion for science fiction. Specializing in digital illustration, Veronica's style can be described as striving for a unique blend of semi-realism, where bold, expressive characters meet lifelike details.

Influenced by iconic franchises such as Mass Effect, Halo, and Baldur's Gate, as well as the creativity of the furry community, Veronica's art often explores themes of action, adventure, and the complexities of romance. These themes are at the heart of their world-building and character lore, which they continue to expand upon with each new project.

When not creating, Veronica is a self-proclaimed book dragon who loves diving into horror stories and sci-fi books, with a special interest in the Mass Effect novels and monster romance stories. They also enjoy adding to their ever-growing dice collection, crocheting their latest project, or getting lost in the woods, where they find inspiration in nature and the peaceful surroundings. Veronica is currently studying Japanese, which has deepened their appreciation for Japanese media, culture, and storytelling.

An animal lover at heart, Veronica is deeply fascinated by the natural world, including paleontology, cryptozoology, ornithology, herpetology, entomology, and ichthyology. They're always eager to learn about weird creatures and strange phenomena, embracing their love for all things strange, spooky, and scientific. Veronica considers themselves a total weirdo in the best possible way, constantly seeking out new curiosities.

With a certification in Adobe Photoshop and animation, along with an Art Major, Veronica honed their technical skills through both formal education and self-driven exploration. Their preferred tools include an iPad, Easy Canvas, Clip Studio Paint, and Blender, allowing them to bring their vivid worlds and characters to life with precision and flair.

Please be aware that Veronica's work may include themes that could be triggering or difficult for some audiences. They explore topics related to trauma, mental health struggles, and emotional pain, which can include intense or distressing imagery and narratives. Some of their pieces may touch on sensitive subjects such as psychological distress. If you are sensitive to trauma-based content or if these themes could be harmful to you, please proceed with caution. Veronica encourages thoughtful engagement with their work, but understands if certain subjects aren't right for everyone. read here

I live with several disabilities and diagnoses that shape how I experience the world around me. These challenges affect many parts of my life, but I try to face each day with resilience and a focus on finding strength in my journey. Though it's not always easy, I've learned to navigate my own path and grow through the process.

Veronica identifies with the pronouns They/Them, She/Her, and We/Us ... but is not part of a system. This means that while they use plural and gender-neutral pronouns, they do not belong to a multiple-person system. If that bothers you, please leave.

Do I Take Commissions?

We are not currently taking on commissions or art requests, as we prefer to focus on creating art for ourselves and personal projects. While we appreciate the interest, we don’t have the capacity to fulfill outside requests at the moment. Our creative process is something we like to keep spontaneous and personal, especially as we continue to improve my art and explore new techniques. Thanks for understanding, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
